Myrtle Beach 75th Birthday Photo Contest
Welcome to the photo contest for Myrtle Beach's 75th birthday celebration. Beginning March 10, we will accept photographs taken in the Myrtle Beach area through Labor Day in a number of different categories. After Labor Day, we'll take the top 16 photos from viewer votes and enter them in a bracket-style tournament, with the Grand Prize winner being chosen after four rounds. Winners in each category will get a prize as well. Choose from the following categories: Best Shag photo Best bathing suit photo Best Favorite Myrtle Beach Memory (couples, wedding, honeymoon) Best Vintage photo Best family vacation photo Best fish related photo Best golf experience (miniature or the big links) Best sunrise/sunset photo Best favorite experience on the beach photo If you have a photo that you think could fit into two categories, try to pick the one it best fits in. However, enter as many as 50 pictures you like over the course of the contest. The Sun News reserves the right to reprint submitted photos in its print product and specialty publications.
