The VISITOR'S VOICE version of Best of the Beach is only open to non-permanent residents of The Sun News distribution area. Resident's, please visit www.TheSunNews.com to vote in the Reader's Choice Contest. Readers that vote in the wrong competition will have their ballots disqualified.
Contest Rules:
1. No purchase necessary. You must be at least 18 years of age to cast a ballot.
2. At least 10 categories on the ballot must be completed in order for it to be counted.
3. Ballots must include ALL required registration information. Entries with incomplete information will be disqualified. The Sun News reserves the right to verify all entries and eliminate any ballot for any reason, and at any time.
4. Readers can only cast one ballot. Either a paper ballot or an online ballot. Paper ballots must be newspaper originals or obtained through The Sun News Customer Service Desk., located at 914 Frontage Rd. E., Myrtle Beach. Unauthorized photocopied ballots will be disqualified.
5. Online voting will take place from 6 a.m., 8/26 until 11:59 p.m., 9/9. Paper ballots must be dropped off at The Sun News office, or postmarked no later than September 9th to be counted.
6. Best of the Beach winners in each category are determined only by reader’s votes. No endorsement by The Sun News is intended or implied. Prudence dictates gathering as much information as possible before patronizing any business.
7. Employees of Sun Publishing Company and their immediate families are not eligible to vote..
